Bluejays blown out by Concordia-Chicago

The women’s lacrosse team dropped their second game of the season on Wednesday Feb. 26 to the Concordia-Chicago Cougars. 

In the first 10 minutes, the Cougars scored five goals on the Bluejays. Bailey Ekstrand had the single lone goal in the first half, scoring off a pass from Kalie Miller. The Cougars scored seven more goals, leading the Bluejays 12-1 at the half. 

In the second half, the Cougars scored eight more goals, pulling the lead up to 20-1. Goalie Abby Derick totaled 10 saves. 

The Bluejays will hit the field again Wednesday, March 4 at Benedictine University at 6:00 p.m.
