A Letter From the Editor (10/21/2025)

With The Leader’s fourth regular issue, I’m incredibly grateful for the staff we have formed and the tight bond between writers and editors that has ensued. One of the greatest challenges news media has faced, particularly in this political climate, is convincing folks that we are on your side.

The Leader, along with many other academic and professional news organizations, exists to spread the truth. We are here to make sure that injustices people face are shared in hopes that it will enact change within leadership. We are here to support and promote the great work that people and their organizations do to build a thriving community.

Most of all, I, and the rest of the staff at The Leader are here to tell the stories of and share the events happening in Elmhurst and its community. If you have something to say, shout it to the rooftops! If you don’t share your story, who will?
