The Bears Season Nears a Disappointing End

Published by Michael Nicholson on December 3, 2024

For Chicago Bears fans, the season has been a pretty disappointing one.

While the team has long been known to have a losing streak, this year has seen the team at some of their most embarrassing, including a near win with a loss on a Hail Mary pass to the Washington Commanders on Oct. 27.

Since that game, the team has faced 4 more losses, recently another close but no cigar loss with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Nov. 17.

The home game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Nov. 24 was met with another loss as well, the Vikings having a score of 30 against the Bears score of 27.

That loss put the Bears at 4-7 for their win to lose ratio, continuing to not look good for this year’s season. The Bears still have a few more games to go in the upcoming weeks, but fans are not too confident that things will start looking up.

Whatever the case, it has not been a great season overall, with some people I know personally expecting the team to not win another single game before the season is over! The odds do look considerably better than what we might expect, however as we all know these are not guarantees and so things may not pan out the way we would hope.

One can only hope that these odds are accurate enough to bring a ray of hope, even a tiny one, into a disheartened fan base as the NFL regular season rapidly draws to its closure.
