Homecoming game coverage

The Elmhurst University football team lost with a final score of 27–7 in the homecoming game against Washington University in St. Louis.

The scoring started off in the first quarter with a 33-yard field goal from Washington University in St. Louis junior, Chris Vartanian.

EU struck back halfway through the second quarter with a 52-yard pass touchdown from EU junior Noah Henkel to senior Joseph McKinley.

However, Washington University in St. Louis would take a 10–7 lead with a quick touchdown by junior Cole Okmin. 

Washington University in St. Louis scored two more touchdowns in the third quarter, and sealed their win with a field goal to beat EU 27–7.
