Have you heard that President Troy VanAken interviewed for a job at Valparaiso University? What is your reaction to that?

No, haven’t heard. That’s a little funny, but not gonna lie, I'm really surprised I haven't heard anything about it. I don’t know, I just had no idea. He just seemed really involved. He came in and ate in the cafeteria with his wife.

I did hear that. You know, as we grow and develop professionally, I think that we just go through changes in life. If he does choose to go there and chooses to do what’s best for him I think that's great, and he’s able to grow and develop. He helped a lot here at Elmhurst College, and I hope he can take that and make other universities better if he so does choose.

I am upset because I am a transfer and I got to know him a little bit. I thought he was a cool guy, so I was like why would you leave? I mean I get it, bigger and better things, but he’s gonna do him at the end of the day.
