Letter from the Editor 12/4/2025

Dear Reader,

Thank you for an excellent fall semester! It has been a busy one, full of joyful celebrations of student achievement, and maybe more controversial decisions made within the community. Despite this, there was one constant: you, our reader.

The Leader is taking a short break, we’ll be gone from this pressing all the way until our “J-Term” issue, releasing Feb. 3. Until then, I ask that you continue to be vigilant in what you read. Continue to ask questions about the world around you, and continue to stay engaged in the campus you’re living and learning in.

Kevin Brassil gives this thought more depth later in the issue than I have space for on the inside cover, but in essence, we are here at Elmhurst University for more than just an education. We are here to grow as individuals. Cherish these moments together and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on our next issue this February.
